“The Hispanic Theater Guild has put together a production of Federico Garcí Lorca’s Blood Wedding that is a visual and artistic triumph. For Spanish-speaking theater-lovers, it is a treat for the senses.

Much like his Spanish contemporaries, painter Salvador Dalí and filmmaker Luis Buñuel, poet and playwright Federico Garcí Lorca flourished at a time when Spain was a cauldron of artistic innovation. The three masters epitomized the Surrealist movement of the ’20s and early ’30s.”
