The 17th Annual Latin Fever Ball Raises $220,000 to Support Work of the Latin American Association

The Latin American Association’s (LAA) 17th Annual Latin Fever Ball held Saturday, September 24, drew some 500 people and raised $220,000 to support the services of the largest organization in Atlanta serving Latinos. The black-tie gala celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 - October 15) and is LAA’s largest annual fundraising event. It helps fund LAA’s comprehensive range of services which includes ESL (English as a Second Language) classes, employment assistance, immigration and legal services, housing support, and family services. LAA offers services to more than 70,000 Latinos annually.
